Private University Semester Fee

Question

The problem is the following.      My private university is arguing that i need to pay a semester that is due last year. They want me to pay the fee of september 2019 - february 2020. I received this letter until now after a year and the problem is the following:&#160;      1&rpar; I never attended this semester, this semester was after my semester abroad and i already have decide to leave the university.      2&rpar; I already have my contract cancellation letter from the university.      3&rpar; Theyre asking me about my adress, eventhough i told them i dont leave in germany anymore and i already have deregistered from hamburg with inmigration and have done all needed papers to leave germany.      4&rpar; Theyre giving me deadlines that they have moved twice to push me to send the papers. And they dont give me the number of a representative that speaks english or dont want to give me a given time in which i can call an english representative.      Ps. The university is using a third party as a debitoren to contact me. They gave me a deadline for November 13.

Antwort vom Rechtsanwalt: Dear Sir,    there is only one option I see to go ahead with this problem:    Please send the papers &lpar;as scan or pdf&rpar; you are talking about to my email rainevdorrien@gmail.com.    I will have a look and will try to call somebody at the University.    The document which proves your "Exmatrikulation" is indispensable to show that there is no legitimate claim for the semester fee that they want you to pay.    I need to speak to someone in charge at the University department because the "Inkasso" from which you got the demand for payment is formally entitled to do this job.
